^^^ Usually, Chad, I agree with your assessment of automotive design. But in the case of this Rolls, I couldn't disagree more. It looks like a Brit take on a Rambler that got decorated by Pep Boys (with off the shelve accessories from O'Gara Beverly Hills Limousine). We have one here in Richmond, same color scheme only all the chrome has been gold plated! That car takes "pimped" to a new level of bad taste.

Now the Bentley Azure, that's a different story .... in dark blue, deep maroon or black, one of the better Crew designs of late. I'd take one for sure, but I don't have a idea where I'd drive the thing!

I kind of agree with you, that is my least favourite Rolls, but bear in mind the period it comes form and compare it to a (much lower class granted) Cadillac or Lincoln of the era and tell me which looks the most tacky...

The Azure is very nice though...

What is there to see in Minnesota?

MANY years ago I knew someone who used to live in Rochester but never got around to visiting, so I might do so one day as part of a roadtrip.

Just curious what that area is like as it's not somewhere we hear much about in the UK.

Not much to see in Minnesnowta...Mall of America is OK....Science Museum is alright....all of that is 3 hours from home for me though, I don't get there often. Southern MN is nothing but farmland, northern MN is nothing but lakes and trees.

It tells you something about a place when most of the buildings downtown are connected by enclosed, heated aerial walkways! Having spent four sub zero Winters At the Univ. of Wisconsin in Madison, I can tell you the "Skyways" are very welcome both from the cold of Winter and the High heat and humidity of Summer. The people are nice, the food is good, the lakes are nice, ther mosquitoes are not! They also have the largest enclosed mall in the world, for good reason. You get the picture?

If you like hunting, fishing, and camping, Minnesota is a nice place to visit. Otherwise, think Shropshire with less pleasant weather.

No shit. In October, there were 6 truly sunny days in the Twin Cities region. All month long it seemed like rain, cloudiness, cold and general shit.

November is a lot better though, it's warm, sunny and DRY!

Rochester is about an hour and 10 minutes south of me, and I go there for work twice a week. It's a real nice city, about 105k people now, so it's the 3rd largest in MN, and I'd say it's a very intellictual city, lots of doctors (Mayo Clinic) and computer software engineers (IBM) living around there. It's also home to one of the few gated communities in Minnesota, so there's a good deal of money in good ol' Roch.

I guess I never thought of it like that, but yeah, that sums it up very well.

I love skyways! Except for the fact that the homeless tend to live in there, they're a great way to navigate the city in the dead of winter. When I visit Chicago, I'm always surprised they never picked up on that idea. Their weather is just as bad as ours, if not worse with the winds from the lake.

Correct again, hunting/fishing is HUGE here. It's probably a lot like soccer in Manchester or football in the deep south. There are so many different types of outdoor sporting goods stores in MN...Gander Mountain, Dick's, Cabelas, REI, etc etc, and they're everywhere!
