Disgusting sewer monster in NC- we're all doomed.
Apparently some people using a small robotic camera have captured footage of a disgusting, pulsating alien blob-looking.........THING..........in the sewers under Raleigh, NC.
The video is perfectly work safe, but don't watch it if you're prone to getting creeped out.

Most people commenting on the video seem to think it's fake- either very good CGI or puppetry that is some kind of viral marketing for an as-of-yet unknown film. Then everyone got thrown for a curve when the Public Utilities Director in Raleigh confirmed that the video was real, saying it was a "slime mold that was in the phase of its lifecycle where it looks like a throbbing, breathing animal"
Case closed, right? Wrong. Now she's retracted her statement, and claimed that the video was taken in a private sewer that does not belong to Raleigh.
Then News & Observer comes along and claims that the video obviously shows thousands of tiny organisms called bryozoans, or moss animacules. Invertebrates, they bunch together in colonies and feed with tiny tentacles. Case closed again? Nope.
Deep Sea News weighs in on that theory and says "No way".
Worms, moss, fungi.....whatever you guys want to think. Personally, I'm wasting no time in preparing for the invasion of the disgusting alien goo balls that are already living below us, ready to strike at any moment. Stock up on ammo today.
