I thought it would be cool to have a thread where we show our cars as they sit right now...without being cleaned and prepped at all.
Here's mine as of this morning. It snowed last Friday night, and I hadn't washed it yet....so it's caked in salt. But I washed it this afternoon, so it's clean now.
That top picture is amazing. Think you can mail me a high-res one for a background? That's a real compliment you know, me getting rid of a Cadillac background for a BMW is a BIG DEAL lol.
From my days at the University of Wisconsin-Madison I remember the psycholical euphoria that over took the campus when the temperature began to reach 35F. Coats came off, coeds began working on their tans on the lawns in front of the buildings. Then having spent three additional Winters on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido I feel well enough acquainted with winter cold to say its' like sticking yourself with a sharp stick; it feels so good when you stop! Now southern U.S. and Arizona summers are not to be taken lightly either!
Eh, I don't mind our summers that much. They're not that bad once you get used to it.
Orconn, aside from Antarctica (I'm assuming lol), where HAVEN'T you lived? You're like a story book, and in my mind I'd imagine probably one of the most interesting forum members to talk to in person.
You wouldn't believe how people here act when it gets warmer. Take today for example, it's 44 right now. People drive with the windows down, people are out playing tennis, the once nearly empty sidewalks are littered with people, everyone seems happier in general. Even saw some people jogging in shorts and t-shirts and a couple boats on the lake. It's like we all just recovered from a terrible hangover.
Same here, it was 54 and everyone was out riding their motorcycles. I would have been on mine, but I went to the gun range instead.
I did have the sunroof on the STS open and the drivers window down as well! :bouncy:

48 here yesterday (today is 51 and recovery) and spent all afternoon cutting and chainsawing broken holly trees from the recent snows - got carried away and did the oil/filter in the STS at 5 pm. That cold concrete floor sure makes the ol' bones ache.
Headed for the Suicide Bridge Restaurant at 7 for some catfish and fried oysters. Maybe a Maker's Mark & water. 100 mile round trip for catfish ??? Yep, excellent restaurant. (Google it). Besides, it makes for a great night run in the STS.
Thanks! Those wheels should have come stock on these cars! It has 115,000 now, and runs great.
