So many positives... Less grass to cut, saving mower gas, making people next door jealous of your success, and think of the extra time savings at the end of the year... A lot of positive check marks lol

I have to agree and yet disagree with that statement.

With the '90s era stuff, Honda had a wide variety of sporty cars (Prelude, Civic Si, Del Sol, S2000) that for the most part aren't made anymore, so they've got that going for them. But nowadays, the four cylinders make WAY more power than they used to. The 2013 Accord's 2.4L four cylinder makes 185hp, which is more than any '90s era four cylinder offered at Honda, save the VTEC Preludes and S2000's. A mid '90s Accord four cylinder made 140hp and the V6 Accord first offered in 1998 had 200hp. The Civic Si is still a ton of fun, but I'll agree....they need to bring back a few sportier cars, like a modern day Del Sol.....although the 2013 Accord Coupe has been heralded as the modern day Prelude, atleast when equipped with the manual transmission.

I have become quite the Honda enthusiast since starting work here back in May. I've always liked Hondas more than their Japanese counterparts, but working here and seeing their quality and talking to repeat customers really hits it home for me.

Sort of disagree. The DelSol that I have just sold made 160hp with 1.6L...probably more efficient than needing 2.4L to obtain 185hp...btw, I am referring to the b16A3 engine.

I am a bit depressed rover most of today's offerings...where are the convertibles?...the S2000CR is a beast, yet Honda strayed away and now only succeeds at boring me.

I think quality has also gone downhill a bit. Take a 2005 accord EX-L...happy that it is gone, goes through rear brakes every 15k...and silly things like breaking passenger door window regulators, fading radio controls (hates heat), makes me want to stay away.

I hate to admit it, but I've never heard my car from a pedestrian point of view. Even low speed (1ts gear only) sounds like there's menacing power hidden under all that bling.

    Wonderful!

Even better because it is not a sound that a listener would readily identify as "Cadillac"!

Gizmo is still restrained and dignified, whilst being menacing.

The '95 Accord was the first to offer a V6 option. It had a 2.7 V6 from the Acura Legend and made 170hp. They also had to modify the front fenders and hood to accommodate the V6 engine.

Re: Candid pictures of our cars.

told my wife to "hold the hose so I can take a sexy pic...so she held the hose high in her left hand, kicked a hip out, pushed her chest out, smiled, and put her right hand on her hip....I stepped over a lil to the right...got a perfect angle and snapped this sexy pic

NOT MINE!!! but it is almost exactly my dream car!! I worked on this sexy beast, and massaged her on the highway for an "extended test drive"..twice eye candy for those skimming, and not reading...

too bad she's an automatic I would've bought a manual. I couldn't imagine not driving a std shift vehicle...you cant enjoy the vehicle to its full potential, partially defeating the purpose all together, kinda like wearing a condom

and for those who remember me,yes I still drive this awesome piece of American steel built only a short drive away in LA '97,...285,000 miles like a boss! the trans is scratchy tho,and the throw is getting sloppy...springs on the clutch disc are rattling a little aswell...got a new trans, flywheel&clutch, just need a couple hours free at work to install it.

    That is it.

    Gloss? Nah - no way.

Wanted satin from the get go. It's definitely love/hate, but it gets looks everywhere it goes for sure.
