Been driving the other cars a bit too much lately, so it was time for the Cadillac to show what she's made of.

This is...what my life usually looks like. My Cadillac is not tall enough to load pallets into from the docks in the buildings, but unlike most cars (including your Cadillacs, I would wager) a forklift CAN come down the ramp and load a pallet straight into the back of my Cadillac. One more reason to love it. This came in particularly handy today, as I was only at this location to pick something up.

    hmmm....a brown hearse?....

He would have to trade his kilt in for the brown shorts though, I am afraid that would be a deal breaker!

Chamus is greatly offended even at the mention of the possibility of such a notion.

Re: Candid pictures of our cars.

That IS a UPS truck. I believe he was dropping off a a package ordered TO the location, as he left his truck carrying a parcel no larger than the hand he was holding it in. This was at Southeast Freight Lines.

As for UPS, I do not work for them (and never have) but am firm friends with all of my local UPS drivers.

Shortpants? I think they are allowed to wear normal slacks aren't they? I would of course just argue my cultural and religious right to wear a kilt and boots and have a kilt made to match the uniform, were I in that position. A group of female friends from another Forum strongly support the notion of "Men in kilts coming to our door." (Because THAT'S not creepy)

Brown Hearse? Yeah, we've got those. I've seen some that were just about the UPS colour, in fact (Still had black vinyl tops.

UPS seems like a fine company, but while I rather hate their rival ( FedEx ) for their poor work ethic and handling procedures, I will admit that my crew and I make frequent jokes about them. There are even T-Shirts:

"When evidence absolutely, positively HAS to be destroyed...overnight."

Lastly, Kevin's on point here. Yes. As mentioned in another thread, the rear end was acquired. My Cadillac is absolutely awesome at this sort of thing, due to the fact that I can put a pallet in the rear with a forklift. Utilitarian Cadillacs are best Cadillacs. Some of you may recall a bit back that I mentioned a donor Cadillac that I found out of state (and posted a photo of).

Needs drums and there is no reason to not replace...everything else...while I am in there...but at least I have it. When I will get the opportunity to get my hands dirty with it...I cannot say.

Maybe its just me, but its always kind of bugged me. There is a Southeastern Freight terminal near my house, and their sign uses what I think is their old logo. It looks very similar to the logo on that building, just more squatty.

I always called them Nazi freight.

My '13 Regal GS 6-speed manual has landed at the dealer. Hoping they can get it PDI'ed for me to pick up this weekend. Saying goodbye to my Yukon Denali Hybrid.

First time since I learned of the 70 GSX and the BGNs that I actually liked a Buick.

Front. I was looking at one at the auto show just before they came out, same colors, even better looking in person.

That's gotta be the sexiest looking Buick in a long while. I'd almost wager since the 87 GNX's.
