Among the favorites were, without a doubt, the '68 Sport Fury, '66 Continental, '59 Lincoln and the '60 D-100 with big block. The T-Bird I never got to drive, legally, because it was my project car when I was 14/15 and the Monterey I sure as hell wish I had never gotten rid of because it was HUGE and freaking awesome with the Breezeway rear window.

Thanks for the thread. I had actually forgotten I had owned some of these cars - especially the later model American ones. I got my license in 1987 - and these are the cars I've owned (in order):
1984 Toyota Tercel (given to me as a gift and eventually sold)
1989 Toyota Supra (regrettably sold due to high insurance cost)
1960 Chevrolet Corvair 500 Coupe (sold)
1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Sedan (regrettably sold due to life complications)
1980 Ford Grenada V8 (given to me as a gift and eventually sold)
1989 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0 (died due to engine failure in the desert)
1997 Toyota Corolla (died in accident and saved my life)
2000 Toyota Tacoma V6 Xtracab PreRunner TRD (still own)
2008 Cadillac CTS DI FE2 Prem Lux
1989 Lincoln Continental Mark VII LSC (Sold 2004)
1999 Chevrolet Malibu LS (Totaled 2007)
1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance
1999 Ford Taurus SE
1976 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
I had to stop and think ... I probably have missed a few.
Jesda and Ian have a few more cars to go before playing catch up.
The fun cars were the Celica, Maxima 5spd, 280/300ZX Turbo, and LSC.
The cars I prized the most were my (4) STS'.
Fastest car is the Lexus ... 0-60 in 6.2sec.
Car that felt the fastest was the 300ZX Turbo.
Fastest Cadillac was the 1995 STS ... definitely the hairiest Northstar.
The best car for a Sunday afternoon drive is the 71 Cutlass convertible.
The worst car, mechanically, was a tie with the Datsun F10 and Mecury
Capri.
The best car in terms of build quality is the Lexus LS400 ... its simply in a different class of workmanship and durability.
Of the 23 Japanese cars I've owned, none were any more reliable than their
American counterparts, with the exception of the LS.
Next car ... likely an 01/02 Eldorado as a weekend toy.

I'm thinking within the next 6 months I'm finally gonna get me a Seville STS. Most likely a 2000+ since the headgaskets, etc. don't seem as rampant. My 18th birthday is Feb. 25th and I'm getting money from my parents. Sometime afterwards I'm gonna put my Cam up on AutoTrader.
