The top itself is actually OK. Plus, I replaced both hydraulic cylinders, the motor and the hose about 15 years ago. The problem is that one of the "arms" that raises the top up and down is broken in two. I had it welded once but it broke after a year or so without even much use and even spliced a piece of metal over the 2 pieces. That came apart too. So, does anyone know where I can find that piece (the back right side)? what years the same arm was used? Thanks?

You may be able to find one on eBay, I think all the top hardware is the same for GM full size cars from '65 to '70.

Try these folks:

They have a for sale and parts wanted area.

You'll find one, they made a crap load of these 'verts with that part.

I suggest you shop around and don't buy the first one you find. On eBay, there are a few sellers that are asking stupidly high prices for their stuff (3 to 4 times what the stuff normally sells for).

Let us know when you find it. Can you post a pic of what you're looking for?

The first two links may be able to confirm what years and cars you part came on.
