Why does it have different number plates on each end?

    Regards from Down Under.

It is likely (though I don't know for sure) that the front plate is an original 1964 license plate. The rear plate is the current plate as required by law. Some states don't require a front license plate. I was able to use old 1970 plates on my '70 Deville, which I think, looks pretty cool.

    Re: new addition !!

^^^^^ correct. it came with the original plates. my state requires both plates but i don't have the heart to remove the original front plate. the car was featured in the chicago tribune for a fashion designers photoshoot. and the original owner took some 64 cadillac sales brochures and wrapped them in plastic. they are still white and almost look new. the only interior issues were the headliner was ripped in a small spot. but i have since replaced it with a new factory style napped cotton and the cloth between the leather is a lil faded but this winter I'm getting the fabric from sms and am going to have them re-done.

its the first one I've ever got that has never been messed with. all wires and vac lines are virgin with EVERYTHING working. including the power vent windows and power antenna!

it had one exhaust port that had a slight tick when cold. i was nervous to pull the manifolds out because i know how the bolts like to break. from what the guy said the car had never seen rain or bad weather. the engine was so clean and rust free the exhaust bolts came right out! it even has bare metal on the frame still and a few spots where the original engine paint had chipped off and is still bare metal under it without surface rust.
