    rim horn thingy 69 only....at least i think

    Where on the wheel was or is this located..., i bought i sew on real leather wrap ansd wanna see if i cant get it to work beforw ahe is covered forever

    The horn should be in the steering wheel on each side. Open the steering wheel and see if the connections are bad.

    The horn ring on the rim blow wheel runs all around the inside of the wheel, with the contact to the horn connection being on the botton spoke of the wheel. If the horn ring is disintegrated, you'd have to rig up a button of some sort to the horn connection and hide it under the center steering wheel pad. Most guys just slap on a 1970 steering wheel, which has the horn ring integrated into the center pad like we're all used to.

    Ill have too pull it apart, ive seen like 7 69s in town, none of the rim horn works on theirs either, i see why its a one yr opt.

    I think every American make had it at some point in the 1960s. None kept it for more than a year or two.
