77 eldorado vinyl to smooth questions

Good day everyone. It must be that time of the year
I am looking at turning the 77 eldorado into a slick top. The information on the topic seems to be very limited. I am looking for any piece of information on how this could be accomplished.

    Thank you

Removing the vinyl top by scraping with a blade, if the glue is bad you can sand or use laquer thinner. Then there's body work no different then the rest of the car. Then of course prime and paint.

Actually Kleen Strip, or whatever it is called works best for the foam and the paint. The problem is the trim around the rear window and the small side windows. I would like to keep it slick, and I need some window gaskets, seals of some sorts.
