My folks had a gold on gold '70 CDV back when I got my drivers license. That summer of 1980, we took it on a trip from San Diego to see relatives in Marceline, MO. They ley me drive most of the way there and back. I have had a fondness for that year Cad ever since. I still remember most of that trip. The car was amazing!

I must say considering I wasn't looking to buy such a big car I'm now a fan and love it
Sometimes its hard to park , hard to walk around in the drive
And seems to use a proportionate amount of fuel to its size
I love it anyway ... don't think I could ever get rid of it now
Couple of years I'll repaint it , retrim it and bag it

Good paint job Roof was painted in satin black? Original interiors seem to hold on with dignity. In mi opinion thatīs the best solution for this carīs sound system. I did the same.

You can find several trunk crests on ebay. I was lucky, as Sven914 did one good from two for me

Some people donīt like big gas guzzlers but when they try a cadillac, experience the taste of a myth that was built on design, the most advanced technology of that age and the riding pleasure. Itīs a car that never goes unnoticed -specially out of the US-.

Actually the roof is a bedliner like product they made as smooth as possible.

Looks great! Could you post a coupe shots of roof? I have a gallon of white I planned to use on mine. Either it goes there or as trunk liner.

Thanks I've only had it about a month; always wanted one but not really looking to buy one when I bought it but once I looked at it the color combo, mileage and the interior I didnt figure I would find another so...... here I am. I have owned quite a few cars but I like this one better than any I have ever had. Sorry for the picture quality-took it with my phone.
