Valve cover question 1957 series 62 with 365
I have a 57 series 62, 365 engine... the valve covers dont seem to be too twisted or out of shape yet they keep leaking.. I was looking at the rim on the vavle covers and realized that the rim is angled, yet the heads are flat.. is this normal? I would think the rim on the valve covers would be flat to sit on the heads properly?
any advice is appreciated.

If it is not too bad you can bang it out with a piece of wood on it and a hammer. Some get warped bad, then it is better to replace them.
