    1969 Deville Thermostat housing removal

    Can anybody tell me how to loosen the rear bolt on the housing for the Thermostat? Easy swap out of the thermostat so im doing it myself. However cant get to the rear bold. Compressor is in the way!

    You can un bolt the compressor and move it with it still being connected. There are 2 bolts in front and 2 or 3 behind it. Then you can move it a couple of inchs. Sometimes you need to do that when working on the fuel line. Really easy to move it. Just be careful not to damage the lines somehow.
