Holy Smokes, youse guys--mebbe you should list the Cads you DON'T like (Bro). . . .I see I'm gonna have to do breakfast (at that "just Omelettes--with GREAT place on Ventura in Encino) with 77CDV and Fleet when I'm next in The Valley. Iffen they'd like to--also, anyone else in the area!

Now, listen up: If a Genie let you have THREE Cads only (and NOT thirty-three)--what would they be?

My Choices: 1960 "62" convert (just like I've owned since 1973); a first series FWD Eldo, made into a convert (did it with a model car--So Verrrry KEWL!); 1941 conv. cpe (It'd be my "daily driver!"). Now, don't ask me to whittle THAT list down! I'd also want to see what the Genie was drivin'

These are the cars that compelled me to declare my devotion to the Cadillac. I was about tall enough that a Dagmar could poke me in the eye. Those dromedary-back tail lights really turned me on for some reason, especially when the left one got thirsty and popped open!~

No choice of real wood interior (the '66 and '68 had it). And the '67 still had the 429 engine while the '68 had the bigger and better 472 engine.

In addition to my beloved choices I indicated earlier, I'm going to add the elusive fully equipped '74-'76 Calais.

I can't recall ever seeing a loaded Calais - - that would be interesting!

They are as rare as rare can be. Allegedly, during the end of the '76 run, when they knew that the model was dead for '77, they had to get rid of as many components as possible. Factory line workers have stated that Calais coming down the line with oddities such as cabriolet roof, astroroof, and a handful had every box checked on the orders.

OK, so I get that "allegedly" there were loaded Calais models produced in 76. When you say "factory line workers have stated" are you referring to a documented fact or is this anecdotal?
