    Parts Interchange Book?

I understand that there is a book which covers the interchangeability of parts among different cars. Does anyone have this book? If you do, would you kindly let me know if the heat riser valve on a '49 Caddy interchange with one from a similar or later year Buick, Olds, or other GM car. I believe that the Caddy 331 CID engine was used in other GM cars in the following years. I've been looking for that heat riser valve for some time now. Any help would be appreciated.

I also need a parts interchange book for a 69 deville fuel tank. They sell online for 300+ dollars and was hoping to find an alternative.

    Re: Parts Interchange Book?

Its called a "Hollander interchange book" The book version ended years ago and now is computer generated and you pay for the privilege to view them like AllData. Another option is find a long established wrecking yard and hopefully he has his old books. I don't believe the 331 was used in any other car except for Cadillac?
