I know there is an old thread about this, but no one mentioned a DIY fix. There was mention about the cable on the left side needing an adjustment of some sort, but I hate to mess with it unless I have to. I tried loosening the screws on the hinge brackets and moving the door to the right, but to no avail. It worked for a couple times and then stuck again. Yes, I know the dealership will fix it per the TSB, but I hate the 90 mile round trip if it's a quick fix. Any info will be greatly appreciated, especially if you have a copy of the TSB.
Thanks for the tip, but the problem is with the latch mechanism in the door; not the button, which works fine. I just need to know how to move the door to the right so that the left latch will not hang up.
There was a campaign issues and revised bulletin on adjustment for the glove box, it requires a great deal of time and parts removed to fix it. Take it to the dealer without question.
