    Ventilated Seats

The ventilated seats in the XTS seem to be underpowered.

On most days, when set to high, there seems to be only a marginal impact.

Is anyone else having this problem?

The ventilated seats are extremely discrete, to the point of nearly non-existent. At least in my 2013 Platinum.

    Re: Ventilated Seats

I personally would like to see them take out all the crap that I sit on and just give me soft comfortable seats.
My seats are to hard and I don't need air, heat and buzzers on my arse.

He can turn the vibrator off in case he doesn't know. I did and changed it to beep instead.

If I did that I'd never hear my phone or radio as the beeping would always be going off with how I drive

I'm aware of turning it off, my point being that I like softer seats.

I know what you mean. I came from an 07 STS and the seats were rock hard. I like the seats in the XTS. However they dont make them as cushy as they did years ago that's for sure.

Seems like everyone would like softer seats. I have never heard anyone say they wanted them harder! What is Cadillac thinking?

    Re: Ventilated Seats

Cadillac is thinking that the new definition of luxury means rock hard seats to go along with a rock hard ride, because, for some reason,
the car has to be competitive with BMW and Audi on the Autobahn.

I bought the XTS because it was the closest thing they make nowadays (ride quality wise) to the Devilles and Fleetwoods that seem to float on clouds when I was a kid.

Maybe the reason Cadillac is no longer considered amongst the top luxury brands is because they stopped making luxury cars.

Yep, I've got to agree with every word!
I needed fold down back seats, and this was the best thing going, but comfort is definitely compromised! Shame!

I don't know about the LaCross but the Enclave definitely is. We owned 2 of them and they were quitter & smoother than our xts. My wife wanted a smaller car that was easier to park so we went back to Cadillac.
The xts will be gone next year and something else will be in our garage.
