Clock not adjusting properly across time zones
My parents bought a 2013 version of one of these. The technology is pretty advanced for them, but they do have a problem. In the overall scheme of things, this may seem small but they do a lot of traveling. The clock is supposed to adjust automatically to the time zone you are in. From what I have read, the clock gets a signal from cell phone towers and depending on the spacing of the towers, there can be a delay in the updating of the time.
That would be fine, except they cross between Eastern and Central time quite a bit in their travels and it can be the next day before the clock corrects itself - although being a hundred miles from the time zone line.
They are about to go into arbitration over this issue. Anyone else encounter this? Cadillac appears baffled about how to correct the problem.

Arbitration over a clock?
EDIT: Just looked at the manual there is no mention of the clock auto set by time zone.

Section 5-5 of owner's manual describes how to set the time and date manually if needed.
