    2013 XTS Value

WOW! I just checked what my leased XTS Luxury with NAV & Premium Audio and only 9000 miles was worth. KBB & Edmunds placed its value at $36k !!!!! It had a $54k MSRP on it. Glad I decided to lease this car. I am in the Atlanta area.

Wow that is one heck of a hit! Too bad, the XTS is a really great vehicle.

I know luxury cars take a hit when you leave the lot, but this much of a hit?? Again, glad I leased it.

The selling dealer will probably list it at 42k. We will probably sell ours next year as I'm not to happy with the ride or noise. It just isn't as good as the DTS's that we have owned.

Yeah you are right I looked at my personal property taxes and it had it at 36. I think the depreciation will slow down though

No one pays MSRP, So the premise is off and the trade in value is only relevant if you intend to trade or sell the vehicle. I bought my XTS as a DEMO and will own it outright in 2 years with no payments.

Leasing is a ok if you don't mind the limitations on mileage and always making payments.

First couple of years the depreciation is quite a bit. Starts to level off after the third year. Autos vary as to holding the value. Check out Maserati. I'm not sure which model but theres one that stickers in the 130's. Two or three years later you can buy it for around 65. Nice looking car from a a pretty exotic manufacturer.
