how to keep the radio on?

Ok, say I'm at the drive-in, how do I keep the radio from turning off every 15 minutes? I never had a car where that happens. Usually when you put the ignition to ACC the radio will stay on until I turn it off. I understand it's a battery saving thing but.........

I'd like to know as well. If you hit the on button to the radio it will come back on, but that gets old after a while.

As far I can find out and it's been a year....the cars are preset to turn off at a specified time. but if you watch the stater light and it goes out just press it again and you'll get more time.....it a pain but it works.

Have you tried to press and hold the start button till the accessories turn on without pressing the brake? I am not sure how long the power is kept on but it might be worth a try.
