    xts driver memory

is the only way to activate driver #2 seat memory by pressing button on door. I'm tired of standing in the rain and snow waiting for the seat to move as my wife and I have dramatically different settings. this is my third Cadillac and have never experienced this. dealership is no help. I have read the manual several times. any help/input on a solution would be appreciated.

    Re: xts driver memory

I don't know if this works the same as my STS, but if you are changing driver memories settings, while approaching, use the unlock button for the setting you want to have set. My '06 used to adjust memory settings to whichever FOB was recognized (while approaching the vehicle) but with my '11 I'm having similar problems as you report for your XTS (and need to use the unlock button). I liked the old way better.
