    not to pleased with new 2013 xts

    Well my radio won't turn off when I open the door so it looks like another 25 minute drive to dealer to have it corrected.Two weeks ago I had the car at dealer for a new glove box switch because it wouldn't open.

    My HHR 2lt is 3 years old and I never had it to the dealer nor have the 2010 & 2012 Buick enclave that we owned ever needed service either.

    I guess you can't expect to much for 52K anymore. The dealer is very good to deal with but I don't like wasting my time there. I hope this is the last of my problems otherwise it's adios Cadillac.

    I should add that I'm a retired GM engineer and have owned around 30 GM cars over the past 51 years.

    Hard reset: Found this on another thread work for me when my AC got stuck.
    1.) Open the CUE face plate (exposing the storage area) - LEAVE IT UP.

    2.) Turn the car OFF

    3.) Open the DRIVER's door

    4.) Wait 30-60 SECONDS

    CUE won't tell you that it reset. When you start he car however (and after shutting your door and lowering your face plate) you will see a yellow circle going round and round and that confirms your RESET.

    Longslim, Thanks it worked. I didn't see any Yellow circles but it worked.

    Longslim is that procedure recommended to do periodically like you would do on a computer? Also when you reboot does it keep your presets(radio, seat memory, etc.)? Thanks!

    Hmmm, I saw this solution in a couple of places and tried it twice on my XTX. The system MAY have reset but I never saw the yellow circle going round. Don't trust it. Going to dealer tomorrow. Will see how that works out.

    I've done as directed too and saw no yellow circle either. I'm not really sure if it does anything or not.

    My CUE got stuck in a phone mode, couldnt back out of it or get it to react to anything about a month ago.

    This advice worked for me too (no working circle showed)
    Not that I cared it rebooted fine, no issues since
