    High beams automatic?

I have a platinum XTS 2013 and I can not get the high beams to dim automatically. Any suggestions on how to do this? I have read the manual but still can't get anything to work.

Hate to tell you this, but the 2013's omitted that feature. No one has ever said why, but Intellibeam didn't make an appearance until 2014. Yep. Bummer!!! If you don't have Driver Assist, there is a company that can reprogram your module so that the feature works as described in the manual. (http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com) The guy who does the programming is very easy to work with. All you need to do is ship your module to him and he returns it. At least one other forum member has done this, and was happy with the results. If you have Driver Assist, you're out of luck (as I am) because the programming doesn't work. I'd be happy to pay for some sort of retrofit/upgrade, but none have appeared to date.

    Re: High beams automatic?

If this company can program the intellibeam to work on the 2013 Cadillac XTS, I don't understand why Cadiilac corporate would not do this for its owners. I owned a 2007 DTS and absolutely loved this feature. How is it that 6 years later they omit this feature on their most technologically advanced flagship vehicle. I would love to hear a response back from Cadillac why it is not available, even thought it is referenced in the manual. Very, very disappointing.

Yes, intellibeam is on the 2014 XTS but they did not include this feature on the 2013. Very disappointing, considering this feature was on my 2007 DTS. There is a company that can program this feature to make it work on the 2013 but Cadillac will not offer this software fix. Absolutely disappointed.
