There is a recall for the rear of the headliner. Is the gap where the rear window and headliner meet?

My service adviser said that to address the recall for the headliner, the procedure requires removal of the rear glass. That is a hazardous procedure, and with black diamond paint, I declined the recall. The little bit of a gap isn't worth possible scratches and attempts to match factory paint. Just my opinion.

So they fixed my two issues the one with the key fob (see previous post) as well as the gap in the headliner. Only issue is the left some smudges in the head liner hopefully i can wipe those out.

Did they have to remove the window to repair the gap in the headliner?

They did not say anything about removing the window. I took the car in first thing in the morning and it was done by 2 so I dont think they had to remove the window. I cant send a pic since it is fixed now.

I think a picture would still be useful. We could compare what a "fixed" liner looks like. Does the headliner touch the glass now or is there still a small gap?

    Hello Bejaip,

I see the dealer was able to fix your issues. I also sent you a PM to discuss your dealer visit. If you would like to discuss anything or have additional concerns, please reach back out to me via private message.

    Sincerely,
