    5-Yr Residual

    It seems that the 5-Year projected residual for the XTS is around 35%. Seems Cadillacs just don't hold their value over the short-long run.

    Most important residual number for any luxury vehicle is the 3 year residual, because that is the number that drives lease affordability. Anything above about 55% at 36 months is good for a luxury car - below that, the lease payments start to look "above market." At 5 years, many vehicles are in the 35-45% range, so this is not that surprising.
