    Reprogram Transmission Module

Anbody familiar with what the reprogram of the transmission module does? As I mentioned in the "POST CUE UDATE" thread, this is one of the items that was done to my car. The service rep couldn't really tell me. Has anybody else had this done? I'm not sure if I feel any differance or not. All I know is the car still runs great.

Something about how or when it downshifts from 5th to 3rd.

    Re: Reprogram Transmission Module

Had mine reprogrammed this week. Was told that the transmission over time will learn my driving style and automatically establish best shift points for my driving. Previously at times the car would hesitate when accelerating but would not downshift though I felt it should. That now seems to have been corrected.

Is there a specific campaign number for this service? My build is 08/12 and I do not recall this service being performed during my last visit. I had the speaker, cue update, interior pieces, rear head rests, and cue volume services done thus far.

No other explanation is on the worksheet.
