I have a Samsung GSII and after I upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich my connectivity to the CUE has been sporadic. I typically delete the entire connect (not just unpair) and then reconnect and pair. This will keep the two connected until I turn off the car. Then I have to repeat the whole process.

    Hi Tony,

Actually earlier on the thread I did mention that I have a Samsung Galaxy Siii (Android) that experienced the same issues with the CUE, but I also mentioned that it did it with my new Volvo C70. In my case it was a matter of the Android OS upgrading that caused the hiccup. All I had to do was delete the pairing on the XTS (and the C70) and then re-pair for the CUE to once again work fine. I have not wanted to jump in on this thread since it seemed to me loose its focus and become one of attacking... Bottom line is IMHO the XTS is a fine car, very well executed and handles beautifully. I did not buy it or any of my other cars for the bells and whistles per se but rather for what the total package offered me. I anticipate some bugs with first year purchases but it has never been an issue for me.

Thanks Kip. So what you're saying is that the problem you had was caused by the phone's OS, not the car? How about that.
Rest in Peace, J.D. (aka Dirt_Cheap_Fleetwood)

So, instead of bashing each other, maybe a constructive suggestion would be in order here? I have no problem logging a ticket with either Apple or GM if that is the correct next step. What would be nice is just an acknowledgment from GM that they are aware of the issue and are working with Apple on a fix, simple.... If not, then let us know what we should do as a next step.

It's not just with iphones. I have a nametag voice recognition problem with a Motorola Droid Maxx Razr. I will put the blame on Cadillac. (My wife's non-smart phone Motorola works fine). Cadillac literature suggest Droid is compatable. Except for voice recognition it is.
