    Leaving Headlights On

Is there any way of running down the battery by leaving the headlights on?

    Re: Leaving Headlights On

The headlights will turn off automatically after a certain time period with the engine off. To be certain, leave your headlights on auto; this turns them on when light is low and off when light is bright; shut the motor and the lights go out dependent on how you set it (30 seconds, 60 seconds, etc). The battery has a constant minimum usage for all the electronic gear. But with all new vehicles, it is impossible to wear down the battery by leaving anything "on."
