This brings up another question in my mind about the CUE screen. My understanding about the capacitive touch screen technology is that it does not work if one is wearing gloves. Is that true? I'm in the midwest and wear gloves during the winter months.

No workie for me with gloves. Just tried it. Just turn on the heated steering wheel and take off the gloves.

There are also companies that make gloves compatible with capacitive touch devices, like this one.

Or if you are a Harley rider, just get out your fingerless gloves. Or you could take a trip down to the local Harley shop and get a pair.
