154 Miles Service and needed on XTS Leveling System

Ok. We picked up our beautiful XTS Premium on Friday. We were driving downtown today hen a warning came up on the dash that Service was needed on the Leveling system. Instead of our errands, we went right to the dealer. The Service Manager noticed that the rear right tire was almost touching the fender. NOT GOOD! So today we have a loaner while the brand new XTS is in for service for who knows how long. We are no strangers to this kind of thing. Our 1999 Boxster S had two engines replaced on warranty. Things happen. I will fill you in on the resolution.

Good luck I've had mines 30 day this Friday and we've had it home 15 of them. Problems with having a new model is what I attribute it to with my fingers crossed. One positive was all of the bugs with the XTS the dealer has fixed. The last time there where four new service update performed on the car, mostly software issues.

Yes, the new model thing in action! We did hear that our car was on a list for software updates. We are hoping the leveling problem is the only one we have. We will see.

Got the XTS back this PM. There was a leak in a bladder of the Leveling system. They. Also updated the software.
