Contact List when connected too bluetooth

My contact list contains deleted contacts from my cell phone. It also lists the same contacts 2 and 3 times. It combines names such as: Gregprix (which is a comnination of my brother and my wifes old Grand Prix onstar number). Any body else getting this type of issue?

If it's an Android OS Phone it may be reading both phone and Google contact contacts. If that's the case go into contacts and press whichever key brings up options (lower left on my Galaxy S III) then scroll down to contacts to display and go into that menu and select whichever menu item of contacts serves your needs. Obviously, you do not want to select all contacts because that might be why, in the case of an Android phone, what is causing your problem to begin with. Good luck.

It's just a plain old LG cell phone.
