1500 really??!!! i just test drove one yesterday. I am now torn between the srx and the xts. I liked the smoothness of the xts. I had my dads dts for almost 2years so I think I could pull the XTS off.
I only seen 500 reate off but if I can get 1500 plus my dad gm discount that would be awesome!!!

Watch out with that though, it uses phone data so unless you have a plan with unlimited data, it will get very expensive very fast.
To answer the last poster's question, there was a $1500 discount/rebate and 3.99 % for 60 months if you have good enough credit to qualify.

1500 if you currently own a luxury vehicle. Not sure what the list consists of other than Mercedes ,BMW, Audi but there is more

Our dealer just listed it as $1500 cash back. Nothing was said about trading in a specific car or group of cars.

Hope I'm doing this right, first time on the forum. Anyway. Ialso went to the dealer thinking XTS or SRX, obviously for very different purposes. I sat in the SRX with its overly firm seat and said "no way". " I sat in the XTS and fell in love. What a great car, and I've owned many top of the line vehicles. I picked mine up on Saturday. While I admit that I have a lot to learn about the features, it's all part of the excitement for me. I found the basic and most necessary functions to be very intuitive while learning something new all the time. I could have gotten another "nothing new but the look" Mercedes but I'm loving the ride.

Speaking of new, I haven't figured out how to start a new discussion thread yet so I'll ask my question here. I'm having a problem with CUE on the ipad that came with the XTS. It won't allow certain functions like updating some apps because it wants a password for the user "cadiapps.gmail.com." The dealer is stumped too. Anyone else? Help

The CUE app can be deleted and reinstalled from the Apple App Store. Thats what I would do.

Here's what I was told to do to get Cadillacs user off.
Connect the IPad to a computer with your itunes account logged in.
Highlight the IPad in the left screen
Click restore. Follow prompts. I think you may have to backup and save appsand log into itunes on IPad.

Thanks for the help. We can't wait to get our car back from the body shop. We live in a supposed "luxury" high rise in Vegas. 2 days after bringing our XTS home someone who wants my handicapped spot vandalized both our cars. This place is to cheap to put cameras up. His whole complaint is he feels its unfair for me to park in that spot and wants it for his third car. We all know who did it but since there's no cameras to catch anything people get away with whatever here. W are leaving in a month! I so irate over this. A brand new car with hood keyed. Anyway thanks again for the help.

You have to put your own Apple account on the Ipad with your own password.

I did that. Covers me for new apps, just not anything already installed. I'm worried about losing settings if I delete the apps.

@Code3ron as I seem to recall, for the GM related apps the first time you go to update you need to first delete the existing app. Then it will allow you update. After the first time you don't have to do that.

I received $1,000 owner loyalty rebate, zero down lease, and first payment made by Cadillac.

Re: Anyone Own XTS Yet ?

Reasons to own the Cadillac XTS - 70+ miles per hour - in a curve - WV turnpike - trucks to the right - truck behind - wall to my left - and an 8" x 8" timber that is half in my lane and half in the wall lane. No way to miss it. Clipped the edge with the right front tire and blew it out BUT I NEVER KNEW IT WAS FLAT UNTIL I LOOKED DOWN AT MY DASH AFTER STOPPING THEN GOT OUT AND LOOKED AT IT. The stability control saved a few lives that day. Thank Cadillac.
