Some rumors around the web (and I will certainly yield to someone with better info): Base starting around 44k
    Luxury coming in around 54k
    Premium maxing out around 66k

No way will a Premium be $66k. Most Cadillac models have a spread of about $10k between base and loaded, and I expect no different with the XTS- especially since some of the more pricey technology (like MRC and Brembos) will be standard.

I'd plan on the base being $45, Luxury $49k, Premium $53k and Platinum $56k.

    CTS platinum ranges from $49-57.5k
Platinum starting at $56k and going up to $66k doesn't seem far off from the current standard especially when you include new systems like CUE.

I'm curious as well. With every option possible, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a $60k+ version.

I was told by the largest Caddy dealer in the country the car will base around $50,000, with Platinum topping out around around $70,000. They are in line to receive the first shipment of XTS vehicles to dealers. I assume this information was passed along from GM at some level.

For $70k that sucker better be like the starship enterprise. Thats close to what an A8 costs.

    Re: XTS price and packages

Even an A8 seemed small compared to STS & DTS when I was shopping in 2008. The new one is bigger but offers a V8 (or V12) and is priced $80k & up.

IMHO, Cadillac won't sell many $70k XTS. $60k will be a push, even loaded. It's a DTS replacement. The DTS MSRP was less than the STS.

Platinums may MSRP for $70K, but then they'll have to cut $10K to move any of them.

Then wait a couple of years and they'll be down to about $40K...

I was hoping GM might announce prices, packages, etc. today in Chicago. Considering production starts next month.....

CTS starts at $40k, with a loaded AWD barely cresting 50.

There's absolutely no chance that the XTS Platinum will be $70k. NONE. ZERO.

As I predicted above, maybe close to $60k for a fully loaded AWD Platinum Collection with Premium paint, but that's as high as it'll go.

I agree with the above, but without the 100% certainty. I predict the most expensive model will be right around $60k. But I accept that I could absolutely be wrong as well.

What's the Lacrosse top out at? $40k? Add $20k, and that's the max you'll see.

    Re: XTS price and packages

I have no idea for sure like the rest of you. But I will say this, for 2013 XTS's i do not see them going too much past 60K. Maybe $63 on a fully loaded Platinum. But if its true that the XTS will be able to get a twin-turbo 400HP engine as a option in the next year or so, then I think there is a good chance the car could get near the $70K range without a doubt.
