I don't believe CAFE is the problem either since Cadillac wouldn't be selling that many V8s. Or would they? And maybe that IS the problem...

    maybe. Last I heard the percentiles that the V sell for the CTS go like this;
    Coupe -18%
    Sedan- 6%
    Wagon- 10%.

They're selling more than M brand cars. All of them.

a nice 400-430 LS2/LS3 powered CTS that slots between the 3.6 and the V and could compete with the 550i would be nice.

I had to weed through 7 pages of that idiotic whining about no V8 nor RWD to find that few were asking or telling about FEATURES, OPTIONS, and SPECS which is the title of the thread. That said...

Please advise if you know the answer: I always have Black cars with Black interiors. Have an 09 DTS Performance now - unfortunately GM 'homogenized' the Black interior options on DTS post-2007 that they all have a beige/neutral headliner. Had to spend alot to redo the headliner and all the little trim parts into Black on my car. Have had to do this on other cars like my last Escalade. Anyway, my question is:

DO YOU KNOW IF THE XTS PLATINUM WITH A BLACK INTERIOR - HAS A BLACK HEADLINER??

I know that it is suede, but do you know if the COLOR is BLACK?

    Thank-you for your help.

Maybe all those people with their idiotic whining wouldn't care so much about having a V8 in their full-size Cadillac sedan, which is probably their only vehicle, if they had a Lamborgini Murcielago like you...

No -- at least the one at NAIAS did not.

Guess you'll have to keep whining.

    Re: Features, Options and Specs

For an administrator like you, 'Lord', as well as the moderator - I would think that you would want to guide a thread back on topic. 'Lord' knows, there certainly are plenty of other threads complaining about those other issues.

On a forum thread, it's nice to actually keep to the thread on TOPIC.

    Re: Features, Options and Specs

I'll let the 'administrator' speak for himself, but IMO it's more important for threads to have less personally directed attitude, than for them to stay on topic. This is especially true w/a thread as long as this one is getting...

So -- let's make THAT the focus now.

I've brought this up many times but almost everyone agrees (against me) that what's happening here - happens... In any event, let's try to get back on topic and continue our discussion on (scrolling up to see what this thread is about) Cadillac XTS features, options and specifications...

I believe the color is called "Jet Black." I believe it will be on the headliner. I am inferring this based upon knowledge about the sunroof.

Thanks. So you heard that the sunroof (cover) had a Black option? If-so then the headiner on a Black interior would be Black...

WTF! I can not stand the "haters" on this Forum. The XTS is and will be the replacement. "Get over it !". I'm willing to bet it's going to be a super driving car, along with much better fuel economy (DI). I'm going to buy one, just because it is a Cadillac! Imported from Detroit, MADE IN THE USA! and GOD BLESS AMERICA! diberjp aka diggerdog

Yes but the haters are the same individuals over and over in all threads saying the same thing.
