If it's the LFX you are talking about, it won't have the punch that the northstar has. But 0-60, I bet it's faster. It will be interesting to see if they offer this rumored 400+ hp TT V6 in the XTS.

That's the last thing GM needs -- to be stuck in the 90s. The promo video may as well have used Smash Mouth for the music.

Jesda, you really need to get over the fact that no matter how many letters you write, they are not going to offer convertibles across the lineup. Nor are they going to offer Aero editions. Nor are they going to offer a bacon cooling rack as factory equipment.

    Jesda really hates this car.

Personally I didn't like it, but after seeing the interior, I'm impressed. It isn't a 7-series, A8 or S-Class, but it is still a premium full sized car.

"full sized car"? Perhaps as viewed through a telescope.

Let's see now, a Super Moderator on a Cadillac Forum; okay I get it (you don't like the car), but for crying out loud, you sound awful trollish with your comments. Express opposing opinions, fine, but realize a lot of guys think this a fine automobile; I'm seeing slurring of the brand and new vehicle (that's not even available yet). JMO

Re: 2013 Cadillac XTS Introduces a New Formula for Luxury

I believe, for the most part, those who use this and other forums like this, are "car guys", looking for information or trying to help another who is trying to find something out. Thus, we pretty much "preach to the choir". But when the company that makes our brand comes out with something brand new, of course, the users of the brand will have opinions, and sometimes, strong opinions. Remember when Coca Cola introduced the "new" Coke? Then they brought back the "old" Coke as "Classic Coke". Opinions matter, even if unpopular among our peers.

    ^lol.

Even if you don't like the XTS but like Cadillac, at least wish them well with it and hope the car does good for the company. I don't dislike the car, it's just not exactly my taste. But I'm still hoping it sells for them which I'm sure it will. The interior is one thing I'm impressed with. I like the recent interior shots a lot.

new coke (or I suppose basically what they sell only to restaurants now) is vastly superior to the Coke Classic that you buy at the grocery store.

New Coke was just a Pepsi clone, too sweet for lots of us. It's not sold anywhere.

It failed the ultimate market research... Consumers wouldn't buy it.
