i hope the poster of these pics is wrong. that car is ugly compared to the pics floating around the www. i have an 05' STS and have been waiting for cadillac to "wow" me. CTS is not a wow car for me for many reasons, althought the V is. i thought the xts would wow me but if its going to be fwd and not offer awd i dont know.....CTS-V or BMW 550i

Yeah, I'm thinking I like the concept better. Looks were never the problem...just a couple of cylinders...

A turbo I4 for $55k? It will sell like flop-jacks.

This car will be a technological tour de force for the large FWD segment. Granted the segment is small but it will have all sorts of nifty features that you've already seen (Cadillac CUE, full LCD Cluster, etc). But the problem is that well it sorta looks like a bloated LaCrosse with Cadillac styling. If the interior of this car was in a proper RWD large car, or at least on a FWD platform that didn't make it look like an obese blob it would be fine and sell really well.

Yes, the XTS will certainly be a showcase of technology - and I agree it's very BLAND for a "Cadillac". I do think it'll light up very nicely at night, however. I know, that's not everything - but it's something...
