During its move from concept to production, the XTS has lots its frameless window design in favor of more traditional pillars, including a proper B-pillar construction. Still, the shape and placement of the door cut lines seem to be identical to the concept, as does the rake of the C-pillar.
Since the production XTS will ride on the same Epsilon II architecture that underpins the Buick LaCrosse, expect the production car to be front-wheel drive, though it's likely that an all-wheel-drive variant will be offered once the car hits showrooms. See the prototype for yourself in our high-res gallery below.
It's an ATS IVER. The XTS looks more like a LaCrosse (as in it looks like a bubble) because as everyone knows it shares the basic platform with Epsilon.
Wow none of this statement is correct or makes any sense. Do you know how many cars are based off the gen II epsilon platform. ......how about, MOST GM cars. You can alwasys change a C pillar look within a platform.
90% of what is said in this thread is wrong. trust me
98% of what youve said is incorrect... Outside of the claim this spy photo is of the ATS, everything said in this thread has been opinion.
If thats the XTS, its gotten considerably smaller, which is contrary to all the reports saying itll get slightly bigger then the concept.
