XLR V-Series on the Dyno!!!

Remove this ad
Hello,
Just thought we would share some information. The stock XLR V-Series dyno'd at 341.1 whp when we were doing baseline testing. The real interesting part is the fact that the vehicle will gain significant power increases with our ECU chip upgrade without any other modification. We will be conducting additional testing next week as we start to add all the new performance goodies to the vehicle. Please let us know if there are any questions.
Thank you,

Re: XLR V-Series on the Dyno!!!

Ouch! I would've expected more. What are they rated...443bhp? That's almost 25% loss to the wheels then. Was that adjusted or net #'s and what kind of dyno did you use? Also, how many miles on the car?

Thanks for the post!

Re: XLR V-Series on the Dyno!!!

Hello,
The dyno was a dynapac. Those are just the raw figures. Those figures are consistent with the stock STS V-Series, so no real surprise with those numbers. The fun numbers come later.
Thanks,

Re: XLR V-Series on the Dyno!!!

That seems about right. Some of the STS V-Series we have dyno'd put out around 360+ hp at the wheels. But keep in mind this is on California fuel. These cars really respond well to the higher octane fuels!!
