    Description: Yields +60 BHP depending on existing or additional modifications.

    The D3 Pulley Kit has been specifically engineered in CAD exclusively for the XLR-V.

    We utilize only the highest quality American aluminum when constructing the D3 Pulley Kit. The pulley kit has been machined to MILSPEC tolerances and has achieved SFI approval.

    The D3 Pulley Kit includes the following:

    * D3 Supercharger Overdrive Pulley
    * Mounting Hardware
    * Gates Belt

    does this apply to the STS-V as well? I thought they were pressed on. Does this require shipping the blower to you?

    Hello,
    This does not apply to the STS-V application. For that we have the crank pulley & harmonic balancer option. We have 1.5-3PSI pullies if you are interested. Please note that the configuration for the STS-V and XLR-V are different.

    I thought both V's shared the same motor and blower. I understand there are other differences but if the blower is the same, wouldn't they both have pressed on pulleys?

    Not arguing just trying to understand the difference.

    I have put the call out to my car supplier to find me a low miles Red XLR-V so understanding the differences now would greatly help me plan for future mods.

    Hello,
    They do share the same blower and engine. However the accessory drives are different between the two models. The XLR-V uses only 2 pulley tracks whereas the STS-V uses 3 pulley tracks with a dedicated supercharger drive.

    The blower pulley's are both the same on each application. We don't advise changing out the upper pulley as you will decrease belt contact surface area increasing the likely hood of belt slip.

    On the STS-V we use our harmonic balancer pulley design. This allows us to just spin the supercharger faster and keep everything else at the correct OEM speed. With the XLR-V we drive off a different location that basically does the same thing as the STS-V. The difference is that we only drive the supercharger, but we don't have to do it from the crank.
