Took the XLR-V to the track tonight....

Well the xlr is no longer a track virgin... Took her to Virginia Motorsports park tonight.

I drove 45minutes to there and only took a 15 minute cool down. Oil temp was about 190-220 all 5 runs.

The car is completely stock, and the current rear tires are Kumho 255.

I tried a different of series each run to see which performed the best. My first was I thought I was in drive so vehicle stayed in first and a red lined it; ran a 13.8

My best was in drive and not in performance mode: run 2 @ 6:25
    60' ---- 1.96
    330 ---- 5.39
    1/8 ---- 8.12
    mph --- 87.6
    1000 --- 10.68
    *** 1/4 --- 12.74 ***
    mph --- 109.66

Run 3 @ 6:43 : In performance mode and shifting
    60' ---- 1.98
    330 ---- 5.42
    1/8 ---- 8.35
    mph --- 86
    1000 --- 10.84
    *** 1/4 --- 12.93***
    mph --- 108/43

Run 4 @ 6:55: In drive and not performance mode
    60' ---- 1.98
    330 ---- 5.45
    1/8 ---- 8.29
    mph --- 86.1
    1000 --- 10.75
    *** 1/4 --- 12.82 ***
    mph --- 109.39

Run 5 @ 7:07: In drive and performance mode
    60' ---- 1.99
    330 ---- 5.48
    1/8 ---- 8.34
    mph --- 85.5
    1000 --- 10.82
    *** 1/4 --- 12.90 ***
    mph --- 108.98

What does the sticker say at the top of your windsheild?

Thanks, I searched but couldn't find any other guys that have run with a stock one. Only one I have seen was D3's.

It say's cadillac. Thinking about pulling it off actually.

My bone stock XLR-V (other than 275 Yokohamas in back) ran 12.64 at 111 this past Sunday at Houston Raceway Park

Temp was 88 Degrees with 45% humidity

Density Altitude was a miserable 2100

This winter when HRP sees negative DA I have no doubts that it will run 12.3's with the paper filters.

    What was your time corrected?

I have a 255 Kumhos on my rears and they seemed to do fine--consistent at least.

My corrected time at '0' DA would be 12.35 at 113mph

Houston Raceway Park often sees -1000 DA in the winter, so 12.3s will be EASY to hit this winter. I anticipate 12.2s
