Vette Z06 Brakes Installed - PHOTOS
So the past month or so, I've been collecting parts to do a Z06 brake upgrade... my hunch was that it would be a direct bolt-on upgrade and it was...
I purchased the following:
Z06 Caliper Set - 6-piston front, 4-piston rear (p/n 19121788, 19121789, 19121802, 19121803) DBA 4000 Series 6x6 Wiper-Slotted Rotors (p/n 42992SL, 42992SR, 42993SL, 42993SR)- http://www.dba.com.au/2006/products_4000.asp Hawk HPS Brake Pads - Front & Rear (p/n HB531F.570, HB532F.570) - http://www.hawkperformance.com/performance/hps.php Stop-Tech Stainless Brake Lines (p/n 950.62003, 950.62503) - http://www.stoptech.com/Products/sta...al_lines.shtml Ate TYP 200 Brake Fluid - http://www.ate-na.com/generator/www/...f_info_us.html Motive GM Power Bleeder and Bleeder Bottle (p/n 0108, 1810) - http://www.motiveproducts.com/

Its hard to tell... its better, but...
I have only driven on them for about 40 miles I haven't bedded them in yet, so they don't bite yet I think I may still have a little bit of air in the system - the pedal is a just a shy too soft initially (I have a tech2 and did the ABS bleed, but it looks like I need to do it again) I haven't done too many aggressive stops yet due to the above points
Once I get them broken in I'll report back

Looks great!
The bleeding can be a pain in the rear. Looks like you have really adequate brake caliper clearance. Good job.
Thanks,
