I know that it's gauche, but I was wondering if Corvettes have the same bolt-pattern as the XLR-V. I was at a Chevy/Cadi dealer and they had a Z06 sitting there with these insane Vette Z06 wheels in a graphite/near-black color... totally insane. A set of those would be awesome, but I wonder whether they'd fit? Aside from the bolts, are the vette wheels too wide?

Yep, they sure do. I had a friend's set of HRE wheels from his C6 bolted on the XLR for a short time.

One thing to note is that unless you get knock-off Z06 wheels that are narrower, you will need to have the wheel openings flared. I think it would look good with flared openings and the huge tires if done correctly though. And maybe even the Z06 brakes.

Cliff8928 is correct. The bolt pattern is correct, but the width of the wheels need to change if you are going to use them on a XLR-V. The widest we run is a 10" wide on a 285 tire. No rubbing and everything sits within in the fender.

Let us know if you see a wheel that is similar to the style you are looking for. As for the finish, we can do just about any finish. A really hot new color finish is a matte gunmetal finish w/pilished or chrome accents.

woah that's a hot xlr.

i like the front and rear fenders' "ground effects" a lot from the sides, but i'm not a huge fan of the chrome fender-thing. wish they'd left that off, kept the cool "supercharged" lettering and updated the bumpers instead.
