Those pics are the standard XLR, we have some in stock actually.
You'll notice the regular car got the cowl hood.
I am not sure what to make of the side vents either but the front and back look very nice.
Small changes in the cabin but most of the instrumentation looks the same.
I have been bugging the BQM to upgrade some of the electronics, I think he wants to but I think his hands are tied.

Re: New 2009 XLR-V seen today

Is 09 the last year for the XLR-V? Is the rumored 2010 CTS-V Coupe going to replace it since it will have the LSA motor? Or they going to dress up the existing XLR-V and drop in the LSA in 2010?

Re: New 2009 XLR-V seen today

I don't think the CTS-V coupe would "replace" the XLR-V, since one is a roadster and the other a coupe- it would be like saying Mercedes should drop the SL550 AMG because they already have the CL65 AMG. That being said, I think Cadillac needs to find a way to make the XLR more popular, as sales have never really taken off like they hoped. Just like the SRX, the XLR was never really marketed properly. The 2008 CTS had a proper ad budget and campaign, and look how well that's doing.

I'd like to see a refreshed XLR with some added muscle, lots of "whiz/bang" features and a proper marketing push. I hope they try it before giving up on the car altogether, because I really like them.

Re: New 2009 XLR-V seen today

I agree that's why I would hope they stuff a SLA in the 2010 XLR-V
