Re: Performance Mode

I think she might have a tenth left in it. Running a 12.43 is very good. What conditions were you running in?

Thank you,

So Doc you think it should turn a 12.3 ?
I power braked to 2500 rpm.

Thank you,
Houston Raceway is one of the faster tracks arond at about 100 feet elev. That night was about 58 deg. and low humidity. I had to wait to get on the line so I am sure the intercooler was hot. I need to get a fan on it. I can feel a big diff when accelerating after driving a bit. Also ran the gas tank pretty low. I believe I could get a 12.3 if I could drive up stop and hit it. I wish I could get a 60 mph time. based on a 12.4 I believe it would be close to a 4.1 4.2 What have you seen? My dyno is 407 RWHP.

Re: Performance Mode

Hello,
Yeah, Houston is really nice!! Having a blown car waiting in the lanes can be tough to combat against heatsoak. There are a few things you can try doing. One would be to ice the blower while in the lanes and pull it off right before you make a pass. Second would be to look at increaseing the efficiency of the intercooler. We offer a intercooler heat exchanger upgrade and we are also testing a new intercooler lid. This lid increased flow by 35%... But the cheapest thing to do would be to try the ice first.

Oh yeah, the RWHP is right on target. We dyno them here on 91 pump gas and pull 407HP & 382TQ on average
Thanks,
