Have not seen any for sale. I am usually looking for CTS, STS, SDV rims. I will keep my eyes open. Almost bought an extra rim yesterday for a 2000 Continental that I wanted to buy. 17k miles. Sharp, one owner. Car sold for around $8k, more than I was willing to pay. No warranty, and I suspect that Lincolns could be a money pit.
Just checked ebay again. Last two V rims were listed mid month, and they were reconditioned.
Superior and perhaps other venders have them. Some dealers have new car take offs, but you would have to call around. You need to find out which caddy dealers do the most wheel and tire business (new car take offs). Some dealer will have them.
Or junk yards. Keep in mind that the hardest parts to sell at a junk yard are wheels and doors. You need to be a good negotiator to get a good price on wheels or have a garage make the calls for you.
1. Superior Cadillac.
2. ebay if you have time.
3. junk yards if you can negotiate.
5. new car take offs. (Local GMC dealer has new set of aluminum new car take offs with tires for a truck. $600. Infinity dealer typically has sets of wheels and tires for under $1000. Need to do your homework.
Re stolen property, I met a guy who was trying to sell a laptop. When I saw the college sticker on the bottom and when I saw the software registered to the college, I called the college. They told me it was stolen in past 45 min.
I do not like laptops although I was curious about the age and the speed. Not being interested in it, I did not even ask him how much he wanted. Good thing. When police arrested him, they told me that could have arrested anyone who tried to negotiate pricing with him. Police theory was that he wanted peanuts for laptop, and potential buyers should have suspected it was stolen when they would have heard its price. Or something like that.
Sorry for stealing the thread.
Police arrested him.
