I had the 03 CTS 3.2 up to 255 kph (159 mph) I drove one while mine were in for inspection. The Corsa you can`t get in Germany but it`s easy:

go to Corsaperformance.com and contact Jim Browning Jr. there, he is the son of the owner of this company, he`ll make you a good price and ship it over. If you do, tell him HI from Harry, he knows me!

The Corsa on my XLR is louder than stock but in combination with the Northstar engine it sounds just great, I wont miss it anymore.

I´ll send you this weekend some pics.

Well, I just paid over €60 shipment and tax fees to get a $44 pair of PAAI whiper blades to Germany. I think I will pass on the corsa, but thanks for the info!

Thanks for the compliments! Damn, you topped me in the 3.2! But it's not fair, you got more hills there, so you can get over 250 on the downslopes. It's pretty much flat up here...

    Schönen Tag!

    thanks Jesda,
but what I was always saying is this analog speedo with 160 mph or here in Germany 260 kph is way too low. The highest I´ve had my XLR was 292 kph (181 mph) but you just can see this through HUD.

In June when I was in ABQ for the XLR-Rendezvous we went with my friends XLR V from LA to ABQ and back, had it two times up to 158 mph then the limiter went in. At least I would say the 160 mph for the US is good but not for the export model.

I`m sure the V will be easy to get over 300 kph (186 mph) hope it`s not limited as my stock XLR is.

Tomorrow I`m leaving for a 4000 mile trip to French and Spain but here`s one more pic, you might like.

Actually the best shopping mate for the XLR is the SRX with the same 4.6 liter engine as the XLR, and loaded with all the right options including Magnetic Ride Control. My wife and I have that very pair (both in light platinum) and we love them. It is the fastest stock SUV type out there and with a longer wheelbase than the 'Slade. The only real mods you should make on the SRX is a cold air intake with a much larger air filter (her stock SRX has only ONE air filter the size of the XLR, but my XLR has TWO, and matching mesh grills. Cadillac is definitely back!!!!

Hi urbanski, I overlooked this post of you but you did see that the tp warning light was on. It was on because I`ve changed my car to new XLR V wheels and tires and the TPM`s of this 06 wheels didnt match my 04 computer.

Tire pressure was correct and short after that I got the 04 TPM-valves for my new wheels - now anything is OK, no more warning light.

BTW I just returned yesterday from a 4000 mile trip to french and spain - my XLR runs great, not a single problem.

Hi Cadillacboy, no oil burns or leaks!
In the last two weeks I`ve made almost 4 K miles and I added yesterday 1/2 of a quart, the oil dip stick showed the middle, now it`s full again.

I do inspection all 30.000 km (18.000 miles) and oil change every 15.000 km (9.000 miles)

1/2 of a quart on 4 K miles is very good to me because my 00 DTS uses a little oil.

    Enjoy yours too

    No problem,
but you might have your XLR or V sooner than your dad will have his Porsche

I am so jealous, and you wont here me say that often. That is how I want it the Lade for riding with the baby and chores. The XLR for playing. Life is pretty good now though, so I am not complaining just wishing to add some icing on an already great life.
