    Dumb Q on remote sensing

We're thinking of getting an XLR. One question I have is about the feature that automatically unlocks the doors as you approach with the remote, and then allows you to start the car with a push of a button. Now, my SRX when you unlock the doors with a push of the button, knows which remote was used, and sets the seats, mirrors, radio stations, for that driver. I'm presuming that the XLR does the same thing.

However, say I have a remote in my pocket, and my wife has a remote in her purse. We both approach the car. Doors unlock. Which seat settings, etc., does it "know" to use?

The one that is cloest to the drivers door is the fob used for the driver

Wife on pass side will not set to dirver 2 till she is 3 feet from drivers door

kinda like the fob has to be with in 2 feet of trunk to open

RIGHT????? How ever I never tested that yet.

I believe that you are correct. If both remotes are present, the car defaults to remote #1.
