    2009 XLR Spy SHots

You can't see much here. But it does bear-out the idea that there is a new grille and tail coming.

I think the interior will recieve some (IMO) long-needed changes and upgrades too, but that's just a guess.

Good find! Heard they were going to make the V-Series hood standard on all XLR's also.... Looks to be the case in this image.

Yes good find! Makes me happy that my new XLR will not be completely outdated in a few months.

I'm afraid they lost me, then. I don't care for the V hood.

I agree with you. While the V is certainly a monster and they have given it a powerful look I just don't think the design flows as well as the regular car. Big bulging hood doesn't flow as well with the sharp sculpted angles on the rest of the car IMO.

The 2009 XLR upgrade includes new front and rear fascias, a revised interior with upgraded trim and new wheels. The base XLR will no longer be available; only Platinum and "V" versions will be sold. The plan for the next-generation XLR based on the C7 Corvette has now been dropped; no replacement is approved at present. Some Cadillac leaders are discussing a possible mid-engine supercar as a possibility but these is only in the discussion stage at present.

I got the unmasked pictures of the 2009 XLR today, and it looks really sharp. The front and rear fascia refresh is subtle, but makes the car look a lot more expensive. If it wasn't stamped with the "CONFIDENTIAL" warning all over it I'd post the shots, but for those wondering- it looks really good.
