    I Pod hookup

    Has anyone installed an IPod cable to their factory stereo? If so, what's out there and easily installed?

    You have three options:
    • Iconnect GMCL21600
    • Neucleus NC-X2i
    • USA-SPEC PA11-VETTE
    All three work fine... each have their own benefits and quirks... all three cost about the same.. all three plug in where the XM tuner is behind the rear storage compartment between the two seats.

    Thanks for your reply. Unfortunetly, I bought my '04 used and it is not XM radio ready.

    Little did I know that even though I didn't have XM, it was XM ready. So the installer used the USA-Spec and it works better than I could have imagined. It works with the touch sceen or steering wheel controls. Thanks Deadringer for the advice!

    I used this one in my 2006:

    Make sure to confirm that they are sending you the correct harness for the XLR (Class 2)

    Just like the others, it plugs before the XM module.
