Exclamation Cadillac Vs. Lincoln: EXT Vs. upcoming Mark LT

The Mark LT is scheduled for production.
Based on the manufacturer's estimated performance, how do you think this will match up to Caddy's pickup? Will it appeal to the Escalade crowd, or go the way of the BlackWood?

Re: Cadillac Vs. Lincoln: EXT Vs. upcoming Mark LT

I prefer the Mark LT.......only because it has a much classier style to me.....and that interior while like the F150.....it has higher quality leathers and metals in it....plus its one of the best interiors anyway.

Also the LT will be getting the new Hurricane engine too later on.....at least 400hp.

Re: Cadillac Vs. Lincoln: EXT Vs. upcoming Mark LT

Is the leather in the Lincoln really of higher quality? Or will it be? I'd like for someone to verify that.. If that's the case, I don't know why that would be.. Otherwise, I like the Cadillac Escalade EXT.

Re: Cadillac Vs. Lincoln: EXT Vs. upcoming Mark LT

is the LT a truck or a mix??

if a straight truck, then the EXT. why would you want a luxury pickup?? the EXT is more of an SUV than a pickup truck. plus looking at the numbers, it's more of a truck than the LT will be. i don't think it'll be a contest.

Re: Cadillac Vs. Lincoln: EXT Vs. upcoming Mark LT

The entire interior of a Town Car blows away a deVille. The entire door panel is high grade vinyl to match the leather, there are door panel storage container, the spring loaded covers, wood trim all over the door panels, even map pockets. The dash is nicer and the carpet is thicker. Everything exeudes top quality. I tried a 2003 deVille first & found the seat cushion too short, whereas the T.C.s comes forward towards the dash further & offers under knee support. Alot of other little touches abound that impress as well. I do like Caddy's signal mirrors, which T.C. lack. I akso like my elegant gold on silver analog clock.

Hey. I'm going to move your last post, Sandy, to the Town Car discussion. Would you mind?

"Okay. I just wonder why that is..."

When I said better leather I meant better then the F150's leather......but I still prefer lincoln leather over what Cadillac uses on all its cars.....but I gotta see the New STS.
